Parenting Stages Guide

From sleepless nights with a newborn to navigating teen independence — each stage of parenting comes with unique joys, challenges, and milestones.

Infancy (0-12 months)

Build strong foundations for feeding, sleeping, and early movement.
We watch early milestones and sensory responses, then coach you on tummy time, soothing, and oral-motor skills so daily routines feel easier.

Toddlerhood (1-3 years)

Turn big energy into confident skills.
We use play to develop balance, language, fine-motor control, and flexible routines for sleep and mealtimes.

Preschool (3–5 years)

Prepare hands, bodies, and hearts for school.
Sessions target pre-writing, self-care, attention, and sensory regulation, with simple strategies you can use at home and in class.

School Age (6–12 years)

Build independence for learning and play.
We strengthen motor planning, handwriting, organization, social communication, and self-regulation so school feels manageable.

Teens (13–17 years)

Support growth, confidence, and real-life function.
We focus on endurance, executive skills, communication, and self-advocacy so teens can thrive in academics, sports, and community.

Health Education & Parent Guidance

Sensory Processing

Good sensory processing supports sleep, mood, attention, behavior, and eating; we teach you how to calm, focus, and organize the nervous system.

Developmental Milestones

Know what to watch for and what to practice at every age, from tummy time and grasp to balance, handwriting, and organization.

Feeding & Swallowing

From picky eating to oral-motor coordination, our team supports safer, happier mealtimes with doable routines at home.

Behavior & Self-Regulation

Play-based sensory and movement activities help attention, transitions, and confidence across home and school.

Built for children, with heart.

Our clinic was founded to provide a safe, supportive space where children’s health comes first and families feel at home.

We use proven programs matched to your child’s needs.
Our clinicians are trained in SIPT, Wilbarger Therapressure Protocol, Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening, VitalStim, vestibular rehab, and more.

Family partnership

You are part of the team.
We explain results in plain language, set shared goals, and teach a practical home program that keeps progress going between visits.

Access made easier

We help with benefits and billing.
We are in-network with most commercial plans and Medicaid, verify benefits before treatment, file all claims, and guide coverage questions.

Welcoming spaces

Gyms that invite movement, focus, and fun.
Our well-equipped sensorimotor gyms provide the intensity needed to change nervous system function and support real-life skills.
